Indoor climate and systems
A good indoor climate is important for both comfort and health. Our properties are built to maintain an even and comfortable temperature all year round.
Heating and indoor temperature
The heating is controlled automatically by sensors that measure temperature both indoors and outdoors. During rapid weather changes, it may take some time for the system to adjust. Normal indoor temperature is approximately 20 degrees. Short-term variations of 0.5–1 degree are normal. To measure the temperature correctly:
- +Measure in the centre of the room
- +Approximately 1.5 metres above the floor
Radiators may sometimes feel cool without there being a fault. They only heat as much as is needed to maintain the correct temperature.
Ventilation
Ventilation is essential for the air quality in your home. Our properties have either natural ventilation or supply and exhaust air systems.
- +Air is extracted via the kitchen and bathroom
- +Fresh preheated air is supplied via bedrooms and living rooms
- +The system is calibrated and must not be altered
Window vents must be kept open. Closed vents can lead to poorer ventilation, cold draughts and lower indoor temperatures. Clean vents and air devices regularly by vacuuming and wiping them. The kitchen extractor fan should be used normally. Avoid unnecessary boosting as it can cool down the apartment.
